Cyprus: Valando Tryfonos for Malmo?

This was supposed to be announced last night however due to "bureaucratic details with the sponsor" it was delayed! Now we know Valando Tryfonos is likely be flying the Cypriot flag in Malmo! Great choice for Cyprus!

Valando also tried to represent Cyprus in 2006 and Greece in 2011! She has a great voice - she also participated in Greek Idol, back in 2010 and won! The other choices were Filippos Konstantinos, George Doukas, Vera Boufi and Despina Olympiou but CyBE decided to send Valando Tryfonos, maybe!

As of yet, no news has been released regarding when or how the song will be chosen - maybe they will hold a mini national final, like in 2012? Or they could go internal, if they do Michalis Hatzigiannis (Cyprus 1998) is likely to write it!  We will know in a few days, apparently.

UPDATE - OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION IS DUE FRIDAY! APPARNETLY IT MAY NOT BE HER - CYPRUS WILL BE REPRESENTED BY A FEMALE ARTIST BUT NOT VALANDO... STAY TUNED! DON'T WE ALL LOVE ESC DRAMA?!?!? I CAN CONFIRM IT WON'T BE HER BUT THE CYPRIOT REPRESNETIVE WON'T DISSAPOINT...
