The sixth Azeri representative is Farid Mamedov! He won the national final in Azerbaijan with the song Hold Me! It's not bad but there's nothing special here. I don't dislike it, but the ballad does have some potential I think - they just need to change a few things, especially at the start. I wouldn't be surprised if he made the top ten - but there's no chance of going back to Baku next year. I will catch up with all the songs soon but this seems to be the most favoured among international fans. Hold Me is written by Dimitris Kontopoulos, John Ballard and Ralph Charlie. A music video is expected to be made...
