Switzerland: Heilsarmee becomes Takasa!

The Swiss representatives are now known as Takasa. This is because the name Heisarmee breached EBU rules as it promotes The Salvation Army...

Takasa, which means Pure in Swahili, also released their official video-clip today. Unfortunately, they had no choice in ditching the uniforms as it promotes The Salvation Army - the EBU rules state no organisation must be promoted and advertised through the contest. Which is right I guess. That's why San Marino got rid of the Facebook song... Even though I still think Carrousel or Chiara Dubey should of won the Swiss selection!

I do really like this one and it's one of my favourites. The new video-clip is awesome, pure genius! This is how they came up with Takasa...
“Sounds mysterious and embodies vitality, while keeping a meaning close to our spirituality.”
Bravo Switzerland...
