Don't we all love national finals? I do! In this special series sharing my thoughts on some tracks which could make Malmo! Take a look at the first part and the second part here!Let's take a look at some beauties coming from Austria, Norway, Germany, Romania and Greece!
- Romania! Electric Fence - Emilia...
The Romanian national final is looking very strong already... Natalia Barbu, Geta Burlacu, Luminiţa Anghel, Naomi and Letica have all applied for it but more on them soon... My favourite is Emilia from the awesome Electric Fence! It's such a unique song and I love it! I don't know if the Romanians will select it, as the line-up is incredibly strong! Romania will select their entry 9th March and it promises to be an amazing show! Enjoy!
- Austria! The Bandaloop - Back to Fanasy...
The official video was only released this morning and I love it! The Bandaloop are amazing - this sounds like it something which failed at Melodifestivalen. I wouldn't be too surprised if the Austrians selected it as they do like to stand out... Another reason they could send it is because all the other songs are bland like hell! It would for sure be one of my favouirtes if it made Malmo! Opinions?
- Norway! Adelén - Bombo...
Norway doesn't have the strongest national final this year however there are a few decent songs... My favouirte is Margaret Breger but I also have a soft spot for this! She dosn't have the best vocals but that dosn't matter here - the song is very similar to La La Love from Ivi Adamou last year. Will Norway select this? Maybe, it did win the 3rd semi final and look at Haba Haba from 2011... *Shivers*!
- Germany! Betty Dittrich - La La La...
The German national final is going to be... EPIC! Each and every song rocks, but this is special... This is one of my favourites, it's a funny little ditty which wouldn't look out of place in the 1960's. She has many fans in Germany so I think there is a good chance she will be selected... The 14th is going to be manic with Slovenia and Cyprus also revealing their entries... <3
- Greece! Aggeliki Iliadi - Χίλιες και μια νύχτες...
Greece has a pretty good line-up this year, better than last year anyway, but Aggeliki Iliadi must make Malmo- it could bring them back to the top 10 easily! I don't know who will win but she does have a big following so she could make it... The song alone is pretty average but Aggeliki makes it amazing, very voice is sensational! It's also wonderful hearing the Greek language. Here it is...
