VIENNA 2015: THE STAGE IS READY!

Oh my gaaawd! I love it! Photographs have emerged today of the 2015 stage in its final form. I'm pleasantly surprised. Yeah, it's smaller than last year but that isn't necessary a bad thing. Rehearsals start on Monday. I can't wait to see it in action :-)

Vienna 2015: The stage is almost ready!

Photographs of the stage have emerged today. As expected, many Eurofans are disappointed saying it's too small. Is size really important? ;-) I'm sure it's going to look a treat on TV! Mu gusta!

Sweden: Melodifestivalen stage revealed!

The stage for Melodifestivalen 2015 has today been revealed. It will be one of the largest stages ever used - with a total of 24 meters in width and 21 meters in depth. It's looking great! Melodifestivalen returns on 7th February.

Vienna 2015: Here is our stage!

Photographs of the stage were revealed this morning. Must say it looks very impressive! The 2015 stage will consist of 1288 individual pillars and it will measure 44 metres in width, 14,3 metres in height and 22 metres in depth. Kathrin Zechner, TV Director of ORF had this to say:

The vision for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is the bridge from the past to the present and the future. The eye is a symbol of this bridge - a mutual respect between cultures, countries and people.

Copenhagen 2014: The stage officially revealed!

Photographs of the stage were today released! It looks great. The cube section has received mixed reactions and I'm not too sure what I think about them at the moment. More photos here!

Copenhagen 2014: The stage...

A photograph has emerged of the stage. I think it looks stunning. The blue area is where the participants will go after they've performed... yep, I am really loving this! Remember, rehearsals kick off in a couple of weeks. I'm sure this will come across great on camera. 

Copenhagen 2014: Photos of the stage revealed!

All I can say is wow! Photographs of the stage have been revealed and it looks pretty amazing.. I am even more excited for Copenhagen now! Meanwhile, the annual Eurovision in Concert takes place in Amsterdam tonight which will feature unique performances from 25 acts. Stay tuned as tomorrow I'll take a look at some of the best performances. 

Copenhagen 2014: Stage plans revealed!

The Heads of Delegations have meet in Copenhagen this week and some details regarding the stage were revealed. It appears the stage is going to be gigantic but sketches are yet to be revealed.

Christer Björkman, the Swedish Head of Delegation, was very impressed with the sketches and said:

Sketches promise a lot. It’s back to big! A gigantic both stage wise and lighting wise. It is Moscow size

The greenroom will be situated in the arena itself, like Baku 2012, and organizers have said they will take advantage of the high ceilings.

Sweden: Melodifestivalen stage revealed!

SVT have revealed a photograph of the Melodifestivalen stage. It looks great - much better than the 2013 stage, which I didn't really like.

Melodifestivalen is one of my favourite national selections, and this years edition is looking incredibility strong. YOHIO and Helena Paparizou will compete in next weeks semi final, and both are already proving big favourites to win the whole thing. The national final season will be in full swing very soon!
