In early March, ČT will present the Czech entry to the public. Ondrej Soukup will submit some songs for consideration and the Czech broadcaster will select their favourite. The artist and chosen song will be announced in early March. The choice of having Ondrej Soukup compose the Czech's entry isn't a very popular one it seems. Many suggest a younger songwriter would be better as his music won't work in Eurovision but time will tell.
