NuVidz: Giorgia, Nicole Scherzinger, Alyona Lanskaya, Stephanie Nala!

Giorgia is one of Italy's most well respected singers and she released a new video-clip a few days ago. La mia stanza is very different when compared to her other songs. It's uptempo and does sound a little dated.. yet I like it! What do you think? This blogger is desperate to see her in Eurovision. I even featured her in my Wishlist Series earlier this year. Nicole Scherzinger performed Run on The X Factor last weekend and wow, her performance was stunning! It features on Nicole's new album and you can buy it here on iTunes. One of the best songs I've heard in a long time. I'm Alive is Alyona Lanskaya's latest song. She's heavily rumoured to return to Belarus's selection (which takes place on Boxing Day) and it's probable that I'm Alive is the song she will compete with. Hmmm, it's OK. Finally, you probably won't be familiar with Stephanie Nala but she's fantastic. She was eliminated in week two on The X Factor but I think Stephanie deserved to do so much better. NuVidz: Jessika, Who See, Giorgia, Kovacs!

Jessika was the favourite to win the Maltese national final this year, and she even won the public vote - but the jury preferred Firelight. Anyway, she has released the official music video of Hypnotica. Great stuff! This song would have been awesome in Copenhagen! Montenegro's 2013 representatives, Who See, have released a new video-clip. Nemam ti kad was filmed in Bangkok. Not as good as their Eurovision entry but it's okay, nevertheless. This blogger is still gutted they didn't make the final... who doesn't love Nina Zizic and astronauts? Giorgia's latest track is Io fra tanti. Another amazing song from this beautiful and talented singer! And finally, I'd love to share My Love by Kovacs. Dark, mysterious, unique and simply fantastic!

Wishlist #7: Giorgia!

I was absolutely thrilled When Emma Marrone was selected to represent Italy in Copenhagen as I featured her in my Wishlist series back in July 2013. I'm now going to look at another amazing Italian artist and pray RAI choose her for Eurovision next year ! 

Giorgia (Giorgia Todrani) is one of Italy's most iconic and well-respected singers, as she's had countless domestic hits and a massive fanbase. She has released a number of albums - most recently Senza Paura which was certificated platinum. My favourite songs from her include Dove Sei, Quando una stella muore, E' L'Amore Che Conta and Tu Mi Porti Su. Meanwhile, Giorgia's repertory includes duets with artists such as Eros Ramazzotti, Olly Murs, Alicia Keys, Ronan Keating and Andrea Bocelli! The 43 year old would be perfect for Eurovision. Her live vocal abilities are fantastic. Giorgia is world class! Emma's result was disappointing, there's no doubt about it, so RAI need to up their game and send Giorgia! Pregherò! NuVidz: Helena Paparizou, Twin Twin, Mirna Radulović, Giorgia feat. Eros Ramazzotti!

Helena Paparizou is aiming to represent Sweden this year, as she will participate in Melodifestivalen but we won't hear her song 1st February, so for now we can enjoy her latest single entitled De Thelo Allon Iroa. Nice song... will her Melodifestivalen entry be similar to this? Hmm. Twin Twin are in the running to represent France - Je Vais Très Bien is their latest track and it's crazy! Although they have confirmed that this isn't their Eurovision attempt. Slušaj Dobro is Mirna Radulović's new song. She was part of Moje 3 - the group that represented Serbia in Malmo. I can't say that I'm a big fan of this song although I can see why it appeals to others. Finally, and I've saved the best for last, we have Giorgia feat. Eros Ramazzotti! They released Inevitabile in 2011 although I've only just discovered it! and this blogger absolutely loves it. It's such a beautiful song! Giorgia is one of my favourite Italian artists and my dream is to see her at Eurovision. Maybe one day? :-)
